01:57 pm - It's over.... Well I must say that was probably the best summer of my entire life. Yesterday when it snowed I finally came out of denial that riding season isn't over yet. Off to the bike show in T.O this weekend to help with the withdrawl.
I forget how to do a lj cut so deal with it. :)
Taken November 26th.

11:23 pm I am so tired. Saturday night I went on a total spur of the moment trip up to Toronto to hang out with Jay and his friend Rob. I got lost of course but eventually found them and we walked around and got something to eat, it was really cool. I went to the bike meet in the Falls last night and although I managed for a little bit, I couldn't keep up the whole way to Coon Rd. My bike is too small and I'm not comfortable at those speeds yet. Watched a bunch of wheelies, Andrew even did some which was super, super *hot*. We didn't go to Port with everyone and instead went and hung out at his place. :) I gotta say in typical guy fashion he's so very hard to read even though we've spent alot of time together. I can't say I mind totally though cause I really don't think I have the desire to settle down right now, I'm having too much fun. My friends say they need scorecards to keep track of who I'm hanging out with. This morning Ashley got an award at school so I went and watched that and then went out riding with Scott before work. We were all over the place; Lincoln, Beamseville, Jordan, Pelham, all country roads it was great. I feel like doing something different so I text messaged Jay to see if he wants to ride to Dover on Friday for lunch. That'd be an awesome ride, plus they have really great shrimp dinners there, lol.
So yeah, that's that.

12:28 am Monday night--Out riding with Andrew. Tuesday night--Out riding with Andrew. Wednesday night--Out riding with Andrew.
I went through a tank of gas in like 3 days. We've only gone riding at night (By the time we get to 3-4am is that still considered night?) and it's so wicked. Stars, moonlight, no traffic, just beautiful.
I have to admit though, I'm a big fan of when we stop and just hang out and talk for hours too. He has one of the most wicked and contagious smiles I've *ever* seen. :) I spotted him in the crowd at Rogers Video because of his smile.
Tomorrow we're having a movie night. :)
Ironic how I went there partly to meet someone off of a dating site and ended up meeting Andrew instead. I love how the universe works sometimes. Current Mood: giddy

01:02 am I finally met up with people who ride, and it was fucking GREAT!! There is nothing like riding in a pack of sportbikes. :) Someone told me that people with bikes meet up at the Rogers video in the falls on Sunday nights and then go for a ride and then stop and watch some of the guys do tricks. I went, not knowing a single person but everyone was really friendly. The first person I talked to introduced me to a ton of people and then they introduced me to other people, etc. (I only remember 3 people's names though.) Watching the tricks was wicked, if my bike wasn't so expensive I'd love to learn some. After that I ended up going with these 3 guys down the parkway which was cool, then the one (Andrew)left and the three of us went down to Port Dalhousie where we got to laugh at drunk people. By the time I got home it was like 3am. It was so awesome cause initially I wasn't going to go with them cause they're all way more experienced riders but a couple of them offered to hang back and stay with me and let me go at my own pace. One thing that was pretty cool was that I was the only girl there with my own bike, the couple other girls that were there were all riding on the back. I can't wait until next Sunday!

08:38 am I joined myspace. http://www.myspace.com/artificialstimulation
So tired....But so worth it. Eddy got sprayed by a skunk the night before last, so Chris and I had to wash him down with tomoato juice. (I love whoever thought of 24hr grocery stores.) He came out of the tub looking like Cujo....
I'd say that'll teach him but I'm pretty sure he got sprayed last year too. Current Mood: optimistic

11:20 pm Went to the drive in last night, got there just in time for the 2nd movie to start, Chris got there at the 3rd. Saw Silent Hill, The Hills Have Eyes and Final Destination 3. Even with a sleeping bag, comforter, fleece blanket, hoody and jacket I was pretty cold, although I did manage to keep my hands warm thanks to sticking them up Chris's hoody. I brought Eddy and he hogged most of the room and thought the best spot was on top of our legs. I'd still love to know what that guy in the pick up truck was doing driving around the lot at 6:30am. Of course he was probably wondering what we were doing there too, lol. Aside from that, I'm off tomorrow. Current Mood: mischievous

10:59 pm - So that's what the drive in looks like during the day.... Just so you know: RV----Sucks. The DaVinci Code is....B..O..R..I..N..G Benchwarmers----Mildly funny. In a grade 5 sort of way.
Aside from the movies, I had a really great time. Sometimes it *is* fun to feel and act 12 years old again. :)
However, 4 hours sleep is by no means enough, I'm off to bed.

12:53 am - Who needs a man when you have a Ninja? I gotta get me one of those shirts that says "If you can read this, the bitch fell off." That would amuse me to no end.
The bad news is that because the bike is from the USA, I have to wait 5-10 business days for the ownership to be transferred over. (Go figure it's a long weekend too.) I already put insurance on it so when the red tape finally ends it's good to go before the ink even dries. I was looking at PINK riding gear online last night....
Here is my new baby....

11:20 pm - The best way to get over someone is to buy a new super hot motorcycle.... Guess who is bringing home a Black 2005 Kawasaki EX500 tomorrow?
Yes, that is infact ME.
I'm so excited I could pee my pants.
|
11:35 am - People treat us how we let them.... So that ends that, again.
Gav and I were hanging out for well over a month, acting EXACTLY like a couple, agreeing not to see other people, telling each other "I love you" all the time, spending all of our free time together, having sex, he even referred to me as his girlfriend to a couple of people but he said he "wasn't ready" to be committed.
????
Thanks for using me and taking advantage of me, thanks for the headgames, thanks for a whole lot of NOTHING.
I didn't expect this from him of all people. He thought that he wasn't like all the other guys I've dated and yet he's so *exactly* like all the rest.
I used to think he was like my best friend, I was so fucking stupid.

11:34 pm I did the Run for the General 5K on Sunday. It was my first 5K run and I came in fourth in my age category, 31 out of all the women and 61 out of everyone. It was an awesome feeling. So now I signed up for the Rankin Run at the end of the month. My goals for the RftG were to not stop, come in last or vomit. I ran 2 of the 5K with my stupid shoelace undone cause I absolutely refused to stop. I had the WORST cramp in my side EVER at about 250m away from the finish line too. My time was 27:11, so the next goal is to beat that time which I'll be able to do.
Ha, look at me just jockin' it right the hell up.

11:18 pm So the X (Not Gavin) wants me back. Tells me he's still in love with me. Tells me we're "meant to be". Tells me he can't get me out of his head.
Uh....ok....

09:30 pm I have to make a Doctor's Appointment for Ashley. We found a lump in her cheek. It's firm, about the size of a dime and you can move it around. Of course my first thought, being a Mother and Nurse....Yeah you know what my first thought is. I'm sure it's nothing, but those are only empty words to try and make myself feel better. I'll feel better after the Dr. checks her out.
